Nils Aldag Recognized as a Thought Leader

The Sunfire CEO was honored in the “Sustainability” category of the prestigious “Vordenker 2023” awards.

Munich, October 19, 2023 | Each year, German business newspaper Handelsblatt and The Boston Consulting Group (BCG) honor individuals who are tackling the challenges of our time and shaping our future. In 2023, the jury focused on the categories “Change Navigation,” “Digital Transformation,” “Innovation,” and “Sustainability” – and selected a total of 30 top decision-makers.

One of them is Nils Aldag, co-founder and CEO of Sunfire. As one of five thought leaders, he convinced the jury, headed by Handelsblatt editor-in-chief Sebastian Matthes, in the “Sustainability” category.

The jury’s citation reads: “With great conviction and passion, you are driving forward the transition from fossil fuels to renewable energies in all areas of life. Your mission has led to the production of highly efficient electrolyzers. In doing so, you demonstrate thought leadership. This makes you a leader in the field of sustainability.”

With the award, Nils Aldag becomes part of a network that Handelsblatt and BCG have created to bring the next generation of thought leaders together with top decision-makers from large corporations, medium-sized companies, start-ups, politics, society, science and culture.
